For individuals: $160 per 50 minute session, $220 per 75 minute session (recommended for 1st intake session)
For couples & families: $180 per 50 minute session, $240 per 75 minute session (recommended for 1st intake session)
Premarital counseling: $180 per 50 minute session, $1300 for 8-hour package (over 12% off – see details)
Phone/ Video teletherapy: I offer in-office sessions only. If mobility or distance limits your ability to see me in person, I am happy to connect you with other therapists that offer teletherapy.
I am committed to serving people at various income levels. My sliding-scale openings are currently full. If my fees deter you from receiving care, I encourage you to consider these quality low-cost mental health services in Austin.
Methods of Payment
I accept cash, check, or major debit/ credit cards, and HSA (health savings account) cards.
Premarital counseling packages must be paid in-full for discount to apply. All fees paid are non-refundable.
Please make checks out to: Melody Li. Thank you. If a personal check is returned for insufficient funds, the client will be charged a $25 fee.
Insurance/ Private Payment
Private payment provides you with the benefits of confidentiality, which I value highly. As an out-of-network provider, I do not bill insurance companies directly but I am happy to provide you with monthly receipts that you can submit for reimbursement.
Please ask your insurance company about their out-of-network benefits towards mental health counseling. It may also be important to ask about your deductible.
Cancellation & No-Shows
Cancellations must be made by phone or email at least 48 hours before your appointment. Otherwise, the client will be charged the full session fee.
Clients are responsible to pay the balance before they can schedule their next appointment.
